Scandinavian Transport Geography Page

Scandinavian transport geography lacks a dedicated institutionalized forum where its practitioners meet and interact, and there are no research centres for transport geography as such. Hence, this report will be a brief survey of publications from several research units scattered all over Scandinavia. The report concentrates on the last three years.rnThere is always the question of defining transport geography. A first and obvious criterion is research published in the Journal of Transport Geography (JTG), disregarding that the authors might not be geographers. Reviewing the last 2-3 years of JTG, two research centres appear with three articles each; KTH in Stockholm and TOI in Oslo.
