Modeling and Experimentation of Heat Exchanges in a Room Heated by Radiator

摘要

The present study is a new involvement in the modeling domain of the parameters of energy mastery dedicated to the heating of buildings. The thermal and mass transfers, inside a heated room (including its internal partitions), and the same transfers inside the heating equipment (a hot-water radiator) are simultaneously modeled in a transient state and in a three-dimensional mode. The methods adopted are the finite volumes, the average radiant temperature, and the equation coupling the three modes of heat transfer. A computational fluid dynamics code, on a macroscopic scale, is used to achieve the numerical simulations. Adopted models are evaluated for their sharpness and coherence by comparison of numerical values against the obtained experimental values, the outcome of which show that the results of the considered modeling are very acceptable. Compared with the codes corresponding to TRNSYS and FLUENT, the manipulation of the code presented in this paper appears simpler.
