摘要

Ever since the synthesis and structure of the gigantic poly-oxomolybdate (POM) wheel of (NH_4)_(25) ± 5[Mo_(154)O_(420)-(NO)_(14)(OH)_(28)(H_2O)_(70)]·350H_2O was unveiled by Mueller et al. in 1995, the race has been on to structurally characterize and exploit these gigantic molecular oxide systems to develop new types of nanostructured functional materials.
