A Study of the Graphical Representation of Plain-knitted Structures Part I: Stitch Model for the Graphical Representation of Plain-knitted Structures

摘要

This study is based on the design of a software program to generate a 3-D graphical representation of plain-knitted structures on a computer screen by using the basic fabric parameters, i.e. the yarn diameter, the course-spacing, the wale-spacing, and the stitch length. The mathematical model is set up to establish the basic parameters of plain-knitted structures.
