Editorial

摘要

This issue of the Journal of Textile Design Research and Practice presents five research articles that add to the expanding field of textile design research and extend our understanding of the unique contributions to knowledge that can be made, within and beyond textiles, through engagement with textile processes and materials be that through textile designing and making, textile design pedagogy or through cultural and historic studies. The articles published here demonstrate these different approaches, but all emphasize the importance of valuing and understanding personal engagement with textile practices and products.
