摘要

Pyroclastic rocks with basalt clast alternating with basalt flows in the Salmas shear zone, Sanandaj-Sirjan metamorphic-ophiolitic Complex, Iranian-Azerbaijan province, northwestern Iran. The stratigraphy is cut by a normal fault. The faulted blocks are separated by basalt layers (black layers). The offset pattern reveals normal faults.
