A random multi-access method for data services in CDMA cellular system

摘要

A random multi-access method is presented for data services in IS-95 based CDMA cellular system. Assumed that the number of arriving data packets follows a Poisson distribution, we analyze the throughput and mean delay of data services by means of equilibrium point analysis. Simulation results indicate that the propose scheme can support more data users than the traditional Cellular system and obtain acceptable mean delay.
