摘要

An advanced cyclone MHD combustor possesses its own features in terms of the requirements of MHD power generation. In this paper, the authors try to sum up the advanced combustion techniques used in MHD com-bustors and explain their functions by theoretical and experimental investigations , and analyze the effects of such factors as the swirl ratio, the first stage equivalence ratio and the coal particle size on the combustion efficiency, slag removal rate and heat loss of combustors, on the basis of which, the authors put forward some opinions about the further research areas for MHD combustors and their application prospects.
