Professor Alan G. Ward, a Past President of SLTC, died, Wednesday, October 3rd, 2007. The funeral was at Wetherby Cemetary, Hallfield Lane, on Friday, October 12th, at 11 a.m. with a reception at the Swan and Talbot Public House subsequently. Joe Dewhurst, Peter and Douglas Crack, Chris Hay and his wife and apart from the family, several members of staff were there. Bronek Wedzicha, George Stainsby, Jack Lamb, Martin Kapel, John Gramshaw, John Fish, Betty (Technician), Edna Romanec, Helen (Secretary).
