摘要

In the scope of upholstery leather emission evaluation various test specifications on the basis of test chamber examinations are implemented requiring an ambient air concentration hygienic assessment after 3 and 28 days conditioning periods. The quantified VOC test chamber concentrations are compared with defined target values. With increasing frequency, tanneries and the leather processing industry force test institutes into the approach to generate valid ratings of potential contaminant loads by applying short-term evaluations.
