摘要

It is proved by a rigorous mathematical-statistical analysis that the correlation between characteristic volumes of matter (critical volume, hard sphere volume, co-volume in the van der Waals equation of state, volume of the solid phase at the triple point and the volume at absolute zero temperature) can be presented by a general and simple mathematical model developed by the modification of the Savich-Kashanin theory. Two conclusions are dravn: 1. All substances are exposed to the same structural changes from one to another characteristic state; 2. All substances have the same supermolecular structure in the same characteristic state. Some additional applications of the mathematical model (polymerization of ethylene and methylmethacrylate) were very successful and indicate its universality.
