The fifth volume in the Pullman Profiles series of books deals with the operation of the luxury Golden Arrow service from London to Paris from its introduction in 1926 to withdrawal in 1972, and with the rolling stock used on it. The earlier SE&CR Pullman services which operated from 1910 to 1914 are also considered, as are certain peripheral services such as the Bournemouth Air Specials. The shipping aspects too are described, but fairly briefly.
