Vintner's Railway Gazetteer: a guide to Britain's old railways that you can walk or cycle

The gazetteer lists all known railway paths in the geographical British Isles; that is, disused railway lines on which one may walk, and often cycle, where official permission exists to do so. As a general rule, it excludes short routes of less than two miles and those which have been converted into roads. From the Jersey Railway to the Highland's Fortrose Branch, and from the Great Southern & Western's Fenit Branch to the Southwold Railway, the British Isles are fully covered.
