Keith's Radio Station: Broadcast, Internet, and Satellite

The original Keith's Radio Station was published in 1986 and written by Dr. Michael C. Keith, who entered teaching at a small New England college after ten years in professional broadcasting. He was hired to teach radio operations but quickly found that textbooks available at that point in time were woefully out-of-date for the state of radio. Keith decided to write his own textbook called The Radio Station, and he pitched his manuscript to Focal Press. To his delight, Focal Press printed hisbook, and it became the most widely adopted text on the subject in its first year (Hendricks & Mims, 2015, p. (ⅹⅶ)).
