The Town and Country Planning (Development Management Procedure) (England) Order 20102 ("the DMPO") specifies procedures connected with applying for planning permission in England. Article 2 of this Order amends art. 18 of the DMPO. Article 18 refers to applications for planning permission made to replace a planning permission granted on or before October 1, 2009 where the development authorised under that permission has not yet begun and the time limit within which to start that development has not expired ("a replacement application").
