Background Surgery for lumbar spondylolisthesis is widely performed. However, there have been no reports comparing posterolateral and anterior interbody fusion prospectively. We compared instrumented posterolateral fusion with anterior interbody fusion for L4 spondylolisthesis in a prospective study.
