摘要

In the present paper we have studied theoretically the effect of the V-parameter and the core chiral admittance on the number of the propagating modes and the phase velocity for the modal indices v=0,1-1, of a chirofiber in detail. The number of propagating modes of a chirofiber filled with different core and cladding chiralities shows the oscillatory behaviour with V-parameter. The phase velocity of HE_11 mode has always large value at any V-for weak chirality than the strong one irrespective of modal index.
