FUTURE PROSPECTS OF LIQUEFIED NATURAL GAS (LNG) TRANSPORTS IN THE NSR

During the last five years, gas consumption has grown by 13%. During the same period of time, oil consumption grew by 7%. It is likely that the oil prices will remain volatile for the next decade, however the gas prices are much more predictable and will stay in the range of US$5-7/Mbtu. The main oil reserves are situated in the Middle East countries. Many of these states are politically troubled with no easy solution to their problems in the foreseeable future.
