摘要

Unsteady hydromagnetic natural convection flow of an electrically conducting, viscous, incompressible and temperature dependent heat absorbing fluid past an accelerated moving vertical plate with ramped temperature in a porous medium in the presence of thermal diffusion is analyzed. Exact solutions of energy and momentum equations, under usual Boussinesq approximation, are obtained in closed form by Laplace transform technique. The expressions for skin friction and Nusselt number are also derived. The numerical values of fluid velocity and fluid temperature are displayed graphically whereas that of skin friction and Nusselt number are presented in tabular form for various values of pertinent flow parameters. The results of natural convection flow near a ramped temperature plate is also compared with that of natural convection flow near an isothermal plate.
