Coexistence of Short-Range and Long-Range Actions at Interactions of Material Objects and Phase Transitions

摘要

Introduction of the concept of entropic interactions revives the Newtonian idea of long-range action in the material world. Entropic changes are the essential part of phase transitions and the interactions between material objects. Such entropic changes result in the alteration of symmetry, Gibbs free energy and other characteristics of a thermodynamic system and appear as a combination of long-range and short-range actions. At the same time, the long-range action is realizing by means of such basic interactions as gravitational, electromagnetic, and nuclear (either strong or weak), according to the mode of a short-range action. Existence of the long-range actions is explained by the entropic interconnection between all objects of Nature in accordance with the chosen version of the Mach's Principle and of the entropy as a positive countably additive function.
