摘要

A series of Ba/MgO catalysts prepared by different methods were analyzed using BET, XRD, SEM and XPS. The catalytic performances of these catalysts were also tested. The results indicated that the preparation methods have strong affection on the catalytic properties of the Ba/MgO catalysts. The Ba/MgO catalyst prepared by slurry method has a suitable surface are and a proper concentration of surface oxygen ion (O~2-), exhibiting superior performance for the methane conversion. The catalysts prepared by mechanical mixing and impregnation method exhibit poorer activities due to surface sintering and poor distribution of the active oxygen species.
