摘要

A procedure for approximate determination of the resonant frequencies in microwave cylindrical cavities with rectangu- lar, circular and elliptical cross-section, loaded by a dielec- tric slab placed at he bottom of the cavity, is presented in this paper. The suggested approach is numerically very simple and has satisfactory accuracy for a number of practical applications in the field of the microwave applicators design. This procedure can be used for the mode identification also in The process of the resonant frequency measuring.
