Expressions have been derived for the `adsorption' (L~a_l (C_0), L~a_0(C_0) and `desorption' (L~d_0 (C_0), L~d_0 (C_0) time-lags corre-sponding with 13 functional dependencies of the differential diffusion coefficient, D(C). A detailed analysis of the concentration ependence of the time-lays is given. The initial (C_0→)slope and curvature of a time-lag: (ingoing) concentration curve may be obtained from the corresponding limiting values of dD(C_0)/dC_0 and d~2D(Co)/dC~2_0.
