摘要

The authors have presented an interesting and useful study on the strength characteristics of sedimentary soil-cement mixtures under optimal compaction conditions. The discussers would like to offer a few comments to enhance the results discussion. Table 6 in the original paper presents unconfined compressive and split tensile strength values of uncemented compacted soil specimens, indicating a clear effect of the presence of suction. It would be interesting if the authors could explain how the suction existence was considered during the analysis of the cemented mixtures.
