摘要

The authors are appreciated for describing a new methodology to simulate the performance of a drip irrigation network under various operating conditions and developing a computer model to deliver an effective tool for appropriate irrigation management under conditions of variable ranges of hydrant pressure. The present analysis primarily deals with the interaction between the on-demand pressurized distribution system and the on-farm drip network, with emphasis on water application uniformity and application efficiency. From this point of view, it may provide to both irrigation designers and managers a decision support tool for achieving a good design with a high probability of functioning properly during peak demand periods.
