This interesting book is presented on the occasion of the commemorative exhibition celebrated for the centenary of the birth of Felix Candela (1910-1997). The exhibition, organized by the Municipal Government of Madrid, the Polytechnic University of Madrid and the Fundacion Juanelo Turriano, is a tribute conceived in his native Madrid to one of the most prominent masters of modern architecture with a high quality legacy, including over 800 thin concrete shells.
