The article provides a mathematical description of the small-seeded oil-crop seeds drying process using microwave heating. A technological scheme for drying small-seeded oil-crop seeds is proposed, making it possible to intensify internal and external moisture transfer during the drying process. According to the scheme, the drying process consists of several cycles, each containing two stages. At the first stage, microwave heating of the material is carried out to the required temperature. At the second stage, the material is blown with atmospheric air to create a pseudo-liquefied bed. A mathematical model of drying small-seeded oil-crop seeds has been developed using microwave heating based on differential equations in partial derivatives. As a result of the numerical implementation of the mathematical model, the nature of temperature and moisture content change of the material and the main driving forces of the drying process is established. The most optimal scheme for drying seeds of small-seeded crops consists of several cycles, including high-intensity heating and cooling.
