Effect of Rice Husk Ash on Lime Stabilization of Soil

摘要

The focus of the paper is to evaluate the effectiveness of using rice husk ash (RHA) as a pozzolana to enhance the lime treatment of soil. The paper presents the influence of different mix proportions of lime and RHA on compaction, strength properties, CBR values and durability characteristics of soil. The results show that addition of RHA not only improves the strength development but also enhances the durability of lime stabilized soil.
