摘要

In this paper, a Singular Value Decomposition (SVD)-based method is proposed to jointly suppress wall reflections and estimate the wall parameters, including permittivity and thickness, which are then applied for Multiple-Input Multiple-Output (MIMO) Through Wall Radar (TWR) imaging. However, the wall reflections are collected at different sample points, which caused by the different distances of transmitters and receivers. Firstly, we aligned the received signals at the same reference point to solve this problem. The target and wall reflections will be separated by the SVD based method. Then a mathematical model between wall parameters and wall reflections can be established. We can estimate wall parameters through the mathematical model. Results of targets imaging based on estimated values are proved that the method is feasible.
