A Variant of P System with a Chain Structure

摘要

In this paper, a P system with new structure combined discrete Morse theory with membrane computing is proposed. The new P system is constructed on chain, that is to say, there is some partial order relation between the membranes on chain. Here discrete gradient vector path is selected as partial order relation. As a new P system, the construction, communication rules and other details are mainly introduced, at same time, an example is given to help understand it. For P system on chain, more precise, on discrete gradient vector path shows the huge inherent parallelism and efficient computation of P system and embodies the optimization theory of the discrete Morse theory, the further study is necessary. This is a new attempt in enriching the family of P system.
