Modeling and Analysis of Network Coding Based on Multi-path Routing

摘要

Multipath routing can cause message disorder and message loss easily. In this article, it first starts with modeling and analysis of Disjoint Multipath Routing (DMR) and Braided Multipath Routing (BMR) in wireless sensor network, and then proposes the calculating formula for evaluating criterion; Furthermore with network coding technology employed in multi-path routing data transmitting, it elaborates on comparison between the systematic performances before and after network coding. In detail, through encoding on the source node and relay nodes, and decoding on the receiver, it can recover the source data if packet disorder or parts of packet loss happens, which greatly promoted the network performance. And, by simulating the models, it is found that the two models are suitable for different size of networks. At last, a method is proposed to choose the best routing according to network scale.
