摘要

Heterogeneous network cooperation is the premise to achieve ubiquitous access. Furthermore, multi-homing characteristic of terminal provides the possibility for multi-flow parallel transmission. Compared with the backbone network, wireless access networks are still the bandwidth bottleneck, and a single access technology can not meet the demands of users for high bandwidth services. So, a multi-flow parallel transmission optimization algorithm (MPT for short) based on network cooperation is proposed in this paper. In this algorithm, the price metric based on the load ratio is introduced, which is used to achieve load balancing. In addition, the concept of Equivalent Channel Resource (ECR for short) is presented, which can be applied to different networks. At last, log distance path loss model is introduced to describe wireless channel condition of actual systems accurately. Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed algorithm can make full use of advantages of heterogeneous networks, improve the utilization of spectrum resources, and achieve system load balancing.
