摘要

Amongst service deliveries, water supply is an important service in urban management. Due to rapid urbanization, there is a growing demand of the drinking water supply. On one hand, the demand is increasing and on another the water sources are falling short of meeting the ever increasing demand. Hence, the city administration is under constant pressure to cope up with this situation. Therefore, demand management in urban areas is an important task and leads to a need of optimum use of the resources.
