India is suffering from the vagaries of the climate change. As a result, the rainfall patterns have been shifted considerably. Due to this, there are scarcity conditions in some of the states of the country. Among others, the state of Maharashtra is suffering most. Due to scanty rains, 12 districts in the state and about 7000 villages are experiencing this unprecedented scarcity this year after almost 45 years.
