CONSTRUCTION OF DRAINAGE SILT & DEBRIS TRAPS ON DRAINS TO REMOVE GRITTY & FLOATING MATTER FROM STORM & WASTE WATER

Drains are often seen loaded with solid waste matter including plastic bags and such other matter. Once dropped into drains this type of garbage results into obstructed flows of storm and waste water and it makes difficult to clean the drains as well. During rainy season most of this waste matter would flow with water to reach the outfall points and get dropped into rivers or water bodies. Drainage silt and debris trap has been developed to be constructed on drains to entrap all gritty and floating matter en-route the drains. This would help in aggregating the solid waste in traps, allowing unobstructed flow of waste water, after removal of solid waste through the silt and debris traps.
