Choosing Efficient and Economical Coagulant for Public Water Supply - A Case Study

Selection of suitable coagulant is extremely important in treatment of water to improve operations, quality of water as well as to reduce costs and enhancing safety in WTPs. With use of new age coagulant PAC has led to cost economy, ease in plant operations with higher output and with better quality of treated water. In city water treatment plants, not only O & M costs but also capital investment can be reduced by adopting design of WTP using selection of coagulant as LPAC.
