The Novel Coronavirus that causes Covid-19 originated in Wuhan, China and by March 11, 2020 the WHO had declared it a global pandemic. The provision of safe drinking water, safely management of waste water and hygienic conditions is the most crucial and challenging task during Covid-19 pandemic for Public Health Engineers. It is also essential to protecting human health during all infectious disease outbreaks. Ensuring good and consistently applied WASH and waste management practices in communities, homes, schools, marketplaces and health care units, will help to prevent human-to-human transmission of the Covid-19 virus.
