COIMBINED WATER SUPPLY TO COIMBATORE LOCAL PLANNING AND RURAL AREAS WITH PILLUR RESERVOIR AS SOURCE

摘要

Combined Water Supply to Coimbatore Local Planning and Rural Areas with Pillur Reservoir as source(Pillur I) was implemented under Tamil Nadu Water Supply and Sanitation Project with World Bank Assistance at a cost of Rs.9175 Lakhs The Scheme was commissioned and maintained by TWAD Board since 1995. Augmentation of this CWSS (Pillur II) under WSS to Coimbatore Corporation (part), Palladam Municipality, 18 Town Panchayats and 920 Rural habitations in Coimbatore and Tiruppur Districts with Pillur Reservoir as source (Palladam CWSS) is implemented in 2016 for the designed year 2025.
