摘要

Zhu et al. (2013) tried to develop water diversion strategies to improve the decision-making process of effective water diversion. They generated an optimization model to determine the water diversion strategy variables by considering minimization of total water supply shortages of urban, agricultural, and ecological water demands based on historical data of the past several years. The model had 16 decision variables, including water level and diversion flow variables, which were optimized by genetic algorithm (GA) to extract optimal water diversion operating rules. Population size, selection, crossover, and mutation rates were 300, 0.8, 0.6, and 0.05, respectively. Also, it was indicated that all the objective values converged after 300 generations.
