HYDRODYNAMIC CHARACTERISTICS OF LAKE YANAKA

摘要

As part of a major effort to undersand and quantify the environmental conditions in Lake Yanaka, the circulation patterns in Lake Yanaka were analyzed through the application of a three-dimensional hydrodynamic model. The model was validated with field observation, and then used to study the response of the lake to different forcing. The infor- mation on flow structures obtained in the present study is use- ful for further study of water quality in the lake.
