摘要

The question of adequacy of mesh is important in the realm of computational fluid dynamics (CFD). One of the pillars of CFD is the concept that the closer a numerical mesh/grid is to the physical, the better the numerical representation of the physical. The discusser appreciates that the authors provide a very thoughtful and compelling case for reduced grid/mesh resolutions by providing results from two separate test cases. This is a noteworthy contribution. This discussion will focus on issues that could have been addressed by the authors to clarify certain aspects of the paper.
