RIP: WANDA J. FUNK

Wanda J. Funk (nee Witecki) passed away on May 9 at the age of 66. She was a long-time employee at the Department of Housing and Urban Development. Her first job with HUD was in the Fair Housing and Equal Opportunity Division; she later moved to Washington D.C. to work in the Office of Public Housing. Ms. Funk worked on a number of key initiatives, including vacancy reduction and troubled agency recovery, and served on a number of recovery teams for troubled agencies, including the Virgin Islands Housing Authority.
