Patrick Dober Selected to Head Brookline Housing Authority

The Brookline (Mass.) Housing Authority (BHA) has selected Patrick Dober to replace Brian Cloonan, who is retiring after 21 years, as its executive director. Dober previously worked as a deputy director at the Cambridge Housing Authority. He commenced work at the BHA on Nov. 1. Before working in Cambridge, Dober worked for 12 years at private firms that provided funding for affordable housing developments. Among other positions, he also worked for Congressman Barney Frank (D-Mass.) on housing and banking issues. He lives in Newton and previously served as a commissioner of the Newton Housing Authority.
