McCarty on Ariz.Monroe is a newly constructed, 69-unit senior housing complex located within a transit-oriented district preserving public housing and creating additional affordable housing for seniors in its community. It was developed as an Operating Subsidy Only Mixed-Financing project that replaced 24 public housing units with new construction of a mixed-income affordable housing development which preserved the previous 24 units, allocated an additional 10 public housing units from the city's scattered-site ACC using tax reserve units and provided 35 low-income housing tax credit (LIHTC) units.
