In Sierra Vista, Ariz., Sierra Housing Resource Partners announced the opening of their Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) Crossing Point development, a mixture of 60 affordable rental homes and 1 9 units of housing available to first-time buyers making 60 to 85 percent of Area Median Income (AMI). Before-and after-school childcare will be provided to all residents, as will regular classes on computer use, job searches and other subjects. Applications are currently being accepted to reserve homes for August, September and October move-in dates. The project was partially financed by Low Income Housing Tax Credits.
