The library at the Bedford Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC) supports a diverse population of staff and Veterans. The Clinical Librarian wanted to thoroughly understand the health information needs of the patrons to better support evidence based practice and Veteran-centered care. Through a Community Health approach, the Bedford VAMC Library improved programming and services by making them more relevant, targeted and accessible.
