Housed flying herd sells to 1,800gns twice

A top price of 1,800gns was achieved on two occasions at the dispersal sale of the all-year-round flying herd owned by Andy and Dennis Bevan at St Weonards, Hereford. Both top-priced cows were second calvers purchased by a Somerset buyer. The first was a pedigree daughter off Goldfish which had calved two months prior and was giving 47kg daily. Away buyers from the West Country, West Wales and the North Midlands ensured another consistent and level trade.
