Luck-E Holsteins was established by Dennis and Beth Engle in 1968 after the purchase of their first registered Holstein, Today, the herd of 190 milk cows is owned and managed by their sons, Matt and Joe Engle. The Luck-E breeding philosophy is to breed well-balanced cows with attached udders and high protein. Cow families are very important on the top and bottom of the pedigree, which was apparent throughout my trip.
