FY 2021 - Funding for PHMSA's HazMat Transportation Programs Advances in the House and Stalls in the Senate

At the end of July, the U.S. House of Representatives passed legislation, H.R. 7617, combining six fiscal year (FY) 2021 appropriation bills, including the so-called "T-HUD"2 bill. The T-HUD bill provides funding for to the Department of Transportation (DOT), including the hazardous materials programs of the Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration's (PHMSA) Office of Hazardous Materials Safety (OHMS).
