摘要

With more than half of the world's population living in cities, we are facing a growing demand for infrastructure services including energy, water, transport and public facilities. This accelerated demand is against a backdrop of complexities and challenges facing the infrastructure systems in the twenty-first century, namely, climate change impacts, lack of investment, operational inefficiencies and a growing stock of aged facilities.
